17 May 2018: "Champagne" and Cupcakes in the Rose Garden to celebrate the end of the IB Exams
On Thursday, our Year 13 IB cohort finished their last examination.
They celebrated with some ‘champagne’ and cupcakes in the Rose Garden, in the company of members of staff who had supported them through the programme.
What a wonderful cohort they have been: lucid, imaginative, and philosophical.
As parting words, they shared two thoughts for future generations, which we reproduce here. Firstly, from Meghna: “Time flies, so get things done!” And, rather movingly, Lily pointed out: “Enjoy it! It can feel like one-thing-after-another, but the programme allows you to do so many things, like CAS and coursework, which are really uplifting. Remember that too.” Wise words, ladies. All our love as you embark on your four month summer break!
